Robert W. Greene

Robert W. Greene (1930?-April 10, 2008) was an investigative journalist, who uncovered corruption in Arizona and twice helped Newsday win the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service.[1] He spent 37 years as a reporter and editor at Newsday and won his first Pulitzer in 1970, for exposing land scandals in Long Island.[1]
Greene died on April 10, 2008 aged 78.[1] Survivors include Greene's wife, Kathleen Greene, and son, Robert Greene Jr.[1] Greene's daughter, Lea Greene, was murdered in 1989 during a break-in at her home.[1]
