Robert Tuchman

Robert Eric Tuchman is the president of Manhattan-based TSE Sports & Entertainment.

Tuchman graduated from Boston University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism in 1993. He began his professional career with Sports Phone in 1993, while also serving as an investment advisor with Lehman Brothers. In 1994 he was a sales representative for Chicago-based Sports Profiles.

In 1996, he founded TSE Sports & Entertainment in his one-bedroom Manhattan apartment. TSE is a 60 million dollar company with over 60 employees and offices in Chicago, North Carolina, Cincinnati and New York. Tuchman has been quoted as a leading authority in sports business in many publications including USA Today, The New York Times and BusinessWeek.

In February 2006, Tuchman sold the majority of TSE Sports & Entertainment to North America Sports Media, a platform company of private equity firm Pfingsten Partners. Tuchman remains as CEO and also maintains an ownership stake in the new company.

Robert Tuchman recently signed an agreement with AMACOM in 2007 to release a part autobiography and part “how to” book titled, "Young and Fearless (and Fed Up)". The story is a self-proclaimed inspirational one, for readers looking to succeed in business by following their passion in life- something Tuchman says he did with his dreams of working in sports. Tuchman is also the author of "100 Sporting Events You Must See Live". Both books should be released in 2008. Tuchman is currently in production as producer and co-host of "Score! Inside the Worlds Greatest Events", which features episodes surrounding major sporting events and the inner workings of them. He also hosts a weekly radio show on voiceamerica.com called "Front Row with the Sports Travel Insider, Robert Tuchman", a top rated show on the voiceamerica.com sports channel.

Tuchman has been involved with several New York-based charity organizations. He has had a long-standing relationship with both the New York Chapter of the ALS Association and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team and Training. An avid runner, he has completed an Ironman Triathlon on two different occasions. He is a board member of the Lake Placid Sports Film Festival and North American Sports Media Group.
