Robert Alan Sucato (born August 17, 1966) is an American film and television Director and Actor. Most notably known for his short films and his work with IFP Phoenix which was known as The Phoenix Film Project when he was the Executive Director. He worked in Los Angeles on "Studio" pictures in the early 1990s. Shortly after that, he moved back to Arizona and started Monsoon Films in 1999. As a film director and producer, he has been involved in many productions. His most recent work was on Future Shock: Comet Impact with James Cosmo of Braveheart fame.

Sucato was born in San Francisco, California and moved to Phoenix, Arizona when he was eight years old. After a short stint at a city college, he served in the United States Navy. After leaving the Navy, He attended Arizona State University, where he got involved in theater, and the University of Advancing Technology, where he was the first graduate of their filmmaking program.
