Robert Seaman (1822-1904) was a North American millionaire industrialist who was married to investigative journalist Elizabeth Cochran (better known as Nellie Bly) from 1895 until his death in 1904. He owned an iron manufacturing company which prospered during his lifetime and for a short time after his death under his wife's management. Later embezzlement on the part of employees destroyed the company.
