Robert Rubel is the former head football coach for Tabor College, holding that position for the year 2006[1]. Rubel had interviewed for the head position at Texas A&M-Kingsville, considered to be one of the more prestigious coaching opportunities in Division II and was asked by the Tabor administration not to return. [2]In his one season as head coach, the team accomplished a record of 6 wins and 4 losses in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.[3]
