Robert Ricks

Robert A. "Bob" Ricks was a former FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge, one of four supporting SAC Jeff Jamar in the 1993 Waco Raid. The others were Richard Schwein, Richard Swensen and Richard Rogers.

During 1993, Ricks was head of the FBI's Oklahoma City field office.

In his role as the FBI spokesman at the Waco siege, Ricks held the first press conference after the blaze that ended the standoff, stating that the FBI had not used any pyrotechnics to cause the fire.

He was charged as a defendant in the 1999 civil suit Andrade et al vs Chojnacki et al

Ricks served as Secretary of Public Safety in the Cabinet of Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating.

Ricks currently serves as Chief of Police in Edmond, Oklahoma.
