Known to most of his fans as "Pops"! Member of The Young Rascals, The Jazz Crusaders and the Atlanta Disco Band. Has played bass on albums by Areatha Franklin, George Benson, Ron Wood, Al Jarreau, Bobby Womak, Terry Bradds, Larry Carlton, Joe Sample, Smokey Robinson, Bette Midler, Greg Allman, Bob Dylan, BB King and Randy Crawford, just to name a few. Has toured with Bette Midler and Olivia Newton John. Appeared in the movie "Hard to Hold" with Rick Springfield. Considered by many to be one of the handful of bass players that shaped the Jazz/Funk fusion era.
