Robert Owenson

Robert Owenson (Robert MacOwen) (1744 – 1812), was an Irish actor, author and father of Lady Olivia Clark and novelist Lady Morgan.

Born in the Tirawley area of County Galway, Owenson would go on to establish a National Theatre Music Hall at Fishamble St., Dublin.[1] The plays and songs were performed in the Irish, Gaeilge, language.
