Robert Molyneux

Father Robert Molyneux, S.J. (died 1808) was the fifth president of Georgetown University.

Father Molyneux was born in England.[1] He was one of the first to edit a catechism, so far as is known in America. He was a priest among the Catholics in Maryland and Pennsylvania.[2]

Father Molyneux, became the first superior of the restored Society of Jesus in Maryland, and held the presidency of Georgetown University for a second term until his death, in 1808.[3]
