Robert Michael Sheehan

Robert Michael Sheehan (born January 7, 1988) is an Irish actor who is best known for playing King Louis XIV in Young Blades.
Originally from Portlaoise, Robert has been acting since childhood, making one of his debut appearances in Aisling Walsh’s acclaimed feature film Song For A Raggy Boy. Since then he has appeared in a number of feature films including A Dublin Story, Ghostwood, An Damhan Alla Anbhan and most recently Summer of the Flying Saucer. On television Robert appeared in 15 episodes of Foreign Exchange (Magma Film/9 Newtwork Australia) as Cormac MacNamara and in all 13 episodes of Young Blades (Insight/PAX TV) as Prince Louis. More recently Robert has appeared in The Clinic (Parallel Films/RTÉ), Bel's Boys (ITV) and in Season 2 of The Tudors (Showtime/BBC).
Robert will soon appear in the leading role of Addison Teller in the new TV series Rock Rivals produced by Shed Productions for ITV and due for transmission in 2008. Robert also recently completed filming the role of Liam in The Fit, a new two-part comedy drama directed by Declan Eames for RTÉ and due for transmission in 2008.
