Robert Maxwell was a minor character who appeared in the British soap opera Coronation Street in 1965. Maxwell was married, but nevertheless went on an assignation with Elsie Tanner. On that assignation Maxwell crashed his car, leading to his death. Tanner fled the scene, leading the police to trace her about the matter afterwards.
