Robert Macoy

Robert Macoy (October 4, 1815(1815-10-04)January 9, 1895 (aged 79))[1] was born in Armagh, Ulster County, Ireland, but moved to the United States at the age of 4 months[2]. He was a prominent Freemason, and was instrumental in the founding of the Order of the Eastern Star[3] and the Order of the Amaranth[4]. He also founded what may be the largest Masonic publishing and supply house currently active.
