Robert Lowe is an American singer. He was brought into the band Solitude Aeturnus by his friend Lyle Steadham in 1989 replacing Chris Gabehardt. His vocal style is typically classical heavy metal with a high falsetto, laden with emotion. For the later albums he is also the main lyricist.

Lowe also appeared as a session singer on the first Last Chapter album.

On 22 January 2007, Leif Edling announced Lowe to be the new Candlemass singer and he has recorded the new album King of the Grey Islands. He also stays with Solitude Aeturnus. [1][2]
