Robert L. Geddes (born November 14, 1955) is a Republican member of the Idaho Senate, representing the 31st district since 1996 from Soda Springs. He has served as the President Pro Tempore of the Idaho State Senate since 2000.

Should a vacancy occur in the office of Lieutenant Governor of Idaho, according to Article IV, Section 14 of the Idaho Constitution, as president pro tempore Geddes would became the state's acting lieutenant governor and first in line of succession to the governor. Geddes has served in this role on two occasions. First in January 2001 after the resignation of Lieutenant Governor C. L. "Butch" Otter, who was elected to the United States House of Representatives. He was acting lieutenant governor again in May and June 2006 after Lieutenant Governor Jim Risch became governor upon the resignation of Governor Dirk Kempthorne.
