Dr. Robert Conrad Khayat (born April 18, 1938 in Moss Point, Mississippi) is the 15th Chancellor of the University of Mississippi. He was appointed in 1995. Robert Khayat, a former student of the University of Mississippi, is the only Chancellor of the university to be a member of the Student Hall of Fame there. He currently has degrees from both the University of Mississippi and Yale University. Khayat also played football in the National Football League as a kicker for the Washington Redskins.
