Robert Hunt (football coach)

Robert Hunt, born July 22, 1975, graduated from Virginia and played guard in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (drafted in the 7th round in 1999) and in NFL Europa for Frankfurt Galaxy (2000). Hunt currently serves as tight end coach for the NFL Europa team the Amsterdam Admirals.
Hunt returns for his third season on the 2007 Amsterdam Admirals' coaching staff and will be coaching the club's tight ends. He first joined Amsterdam's coaching staff in 2005 as a member of the NFL Europa Coaching Program.
Next to this job, Hunt is very active in teaching the younger and has also spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach at Menchville High School in Newport News, Virginia. Furthermore, he has also served as a teacher during that time. He has said that he enjoys speaking to elementary, middle and high school students and acting as a mentor for elementary school students in the Albermarle County schools system in Virginia.
