Dr. Robert Holden is a psychologist, author, and broadcaster, who works in the field of positive psychology and well-being. He is a laugh therapist[1] and the author of best selling books like, Happiness Now![2]
Robert is a personal and professional coach, and the head of the Deep & Meaningful Training Co., through which he gives public lectures worldwide and holds training seminars for corporates like Dove, Virgin, The Body Shop and Unilever, and for public alike.[3]
He is the founder-director of The Happiness Project in England, a unique project featured in on two major BBC TV documentaries - ‘The Happiness Formula’ and also the award-winning ‘How to be Happy’.[4]

After receiving his Ph.D. in the Psychology, Robert did some pioneering work in the field of positive psychology and in 1991 launched the UK's first laughter clinics[5] and later he set the the Happiness Project in 1995.
Robert is the author of 10 books, published in 14 languages,[6] including Laughter The Best Medicine, Shift Happens!: Powerful Ways to Transform Your Life, Stress Busters, and Success Intelligence, and has also appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2007.[7]
