Robert Henderson (River City)

Robert Henderson (played by Maurice Roeves) is a fictional character in the BBC Scotland soap, River City.
Robert is the long-lost brother of George Henderson (now deceased). He appeared in Shieldinch to reconcile with his brother before his death, but has since tried to take his place, believing that his 'good for nothing' brother got everything he should have had. It was also recently discovered that Robert had an affair with George's now deceased first wife, Moira. This resulted in Alice, who it seems was not George's daughter after all. The effects of this caused Alice to fall out with her family and she had left Shieldinch for the time being. Robert's evil behaviour came to a head when he held Shirley and Nicki hostage in Shirley's flat, but disappeared when Billy Davies came to rescue them.
