Robert ("Rob") Hammond OAM (born May 6, 1981 in Townsville, Queensland) is a field hockey midfielder from Australia, who was a member of the team that won the golden medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens by beating title holders The Netherlands in the final.
Hammond made his debut for The Kookaburras during the so called Manning Cup against New Zealand in 2001. In the same year he represented Australia at the Junior World Cup in Hobart, before making his senior major tournament debut at the 2002 Champions Trophy in Cologne, Germany. Since the summer of 2006 he is playing club hockey in the Netherlands, at Oranje Zwart from Eindhoven.
