Robert Henry Gordon (born 1917? in Shankhouse, Northumberland, died September 18, 1940) was a former professional footballer, who played for Huddersfield Town.
He died in September 1940, when he was killed in action in World War II whilst serving as a Leading Aircraftman in the 9th sqn of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.[1]
