Robert Gifford is Professor of Psychology and Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He is an environmental psychologist whose main research interests are environmental psychology, social psychology, and personality psychology. He has written Environmental Psychology: Principles and Practice (4th ed., 2007) and is the editor of the Journal of Environmental Psychology.
