Robert Galea

Robert Galea is a Christian singer and songwriter from the island of Malta. In 2003 Robert entered a seminary where he is preparing himself for the Catholic priesthood. Robert's passion is to draw others to the heart of God. He believes, along with a number of other important voices in the Christian tradition stretching even from Apostolic times, that music is an important instrument in helping others understand the need for intimacy with God. Robert has released three music projects, More of You (April 2004), Closer (UK release, February 2006) and his latest 13 track album titled What A Day (January 2008).
His music is a mix of the heartfelt and spiritual. Robert's music has enjoyed widespread fame in the Catholic Charismatic movement and his albums have enjoyed a sustained success in Malta, the UK, and Australia, to name but a few.
Robert has written a number of songs for various campaigns and international conferences. He will also feature in the 2008 World Youth Day celebrations in Sydney, and appears in the international version of the official 2008 World Youth Day song "Receive the Power" singing the Italian verses. Robert is currently living and studying in Australia.
