Robert H. Easton is the Deputy Superintendent & General Counsel of the New York State Insurance Department.[1] He advises the Superintendent and other officers of the Department, and supervises the Department's Office of General Counsel.[2]
He formerly worked for Sidley & Austin, and served as a law clerk for Chief U.S. District Judge B. Avant Edenfield in the Southern District of Georgia.
He earned a BA in History from Johns Hopkins University, where he was Phi Beta Kappa, and a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law.
