Robert Draper

Robert Draper is a freelance writer and a correspondent for GQ. Previously, he worked for Texas Monthly, where he first became acquainted with the Bush political family. He is the author of Dead Certain: The Presidency of George W. Bush, a chronicle of the Bush administration from 2001 to 2007. He has also written Rolling Stone Magazine: The Uncensored History, and a novel, Hadrian's Walls. He lives in Washington, D.C. He recently wrote an article on the Kushite pharoahs of Egypt for the February 2008 issue of National Geographic
He was featured as a guest on the Daily Show on September 12, 2007, to discuss his book, Dead Certain.
