Robert Douglas Dick was a first class cricketer who played one game for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1911.
A right arm fast bowler, he took 2 wickets for 37 runs in the match against Nottinghamshire CCC at The Circle, Hull. He was less successful with the bat, scoring just 2 runs in his only first class innings. Yorkshire won the game by 225 thanks to fine batting from David Denton (74 & 101*) and 9 wickets from Major Booth, who was to die in the First World War. Dick also played for Yorkshire Second XI in this year.
Born April 16, 1889 in Middlesbrough, he died on December 14, 1983 in Guisborough, Yorkshire aged 94.
