Robert Ahrens is a producer of theater and film based in New York City.
Robert is most recently noted for his role in bringing the movie Xanadu (movie) to the Broadway stage, transforming a critically challenged film into a hit musical[1] nominated for Best Musical at the 2008 Tony Awards. [2] Robert began acquiring the stage rights to Xanadu (musical) in 2002. [3] [4] He also produced three films: Bumping Heads, Book of Love and WTC View [5]. He began his career at the Chase Manhattan Bank and graduated from Cornell University. [6]
