Robert Abercrombie Wylie, born in Glasgow, Scotland, April 7, 1932, is a well known Canadian folk artist and wood carver. Examples of his work can be seen in Blake McKendry’s Folk Art: Primitive and Naïve Art in Canada (1983), and the Ontario Heritage Foundation's Folk Treasures of Historic Ontario (1985). He continues to live and make art in Thomasburg, Ontario, Canada.[citation needed]
