Robbie Johnston

Robert ("Robbie") Ian Johnston (born August 21, 1967 in Balclutha) is a retired long-distance runner from New Zealand, who represented his native country twice in the men's 10.000 metres at the Summer Olympics, starting in 1992 (Barcelona, Spain). Johnston was also a member of the Kiwi team at the 1994 Commonwealth Games and a bronze medalist in the men's 5000m metres at the 1994 World Cup in Athletics representing Oceania. Johnston ran an unofficial World Best 8k road time of 21min 52sec in winning the 1993 Round the Bays event in Auckland, New Zealand.
