Robert Ainsley Wolleaston (born 21 December 1979 in Perivale) is an English footballer currently playing in the Conference National for Rushden & Diamonds.

The midfielder started his career at Chelsea. He was with the club for five years, but only made two first team appearances, in the League Cup against Huddersfield Town and as a late substitute in a Premier League match against Sunderland, both in 1999. While at Chelsea he had loan spells at Bristol Rovers, Portsmouth and Northampton Town, and was released in 2003.

After his release from Chelsea he joined Bradford City[1] and made 14 appearances at Valley Parade. Due to financial problems at the club however he was told to find another club and he signed for Oxford United, then under the stewardship of his former coach at Chelsea, Graham Rix.

Following 20 appearances, Rix's departure and a long-term injury, Wolleaston was released from Oxford and joined Cambridge United in February 2006.[2] By the end of the 2006–07 season he had completed 100 career league appearances.

Wolleaston signed for Rushden & Diamonds for an undisclosed fee on 2 June 2008.[3]
