Rob Pottorf

Rob Pottorf is an American composer.

After 10 successful years as Senior Music Composer with Paramount Parks (a division of Paramount Pictures/Viacom ) he ventured out in 1999 to pursue his career in film & television. In just a short period of time his music could be heard on CBS, HGTV, Court TV & PAXNET

While most of his time was spent scoring animated series such as “Hermie a Common Caterpillar” with Tim Conway & Don Knotts and “On the Farm” with Vince Gill, Amy Grant & Randy Travis to name a few, more film opportunities started to appear. After working on the film Bobby Jones Stroke of Genius, his latest film with actor Will Patton (Remember the Titans, Mothman Prophecies, [[Armageddon (film)|Armageddon, Gone in 60 Seconds, No Way Out) and a new animated series “Danger Rangers” on PBS marks another turning point in his career.

Pottorf was born and raised in Sidney, Ohio. He graduated in 1977 from Sidney High School. He was inducted into the same Hall of Fame in 2005.
