Rob Gravelle (born on February 27, 1969, in Ottawa, Canada) is the guitarist for the classic metal band Ivory Knight.

Rob began studying guitar with private music lessons at the age of fifteen. After high school, he enrolled at Carleton University so that he could study music full-time. While attending school, Rob taught guitar and played in a number of bands, where he became a popular draw at many of the local clubs with his guitar wizardry and instantly recognizable stage presence.

Rob graduated from Carleton with a BA in Music in 1995.

An accomplished composer, Rob has released a number of demo recordings, EPs, and full-length CDs over the years with various acts including Sudden Thunder, Dr. Squish and others. In early 2000, Rob joined Ivory Knight, and has since become a major contributor to the band's songs and sound. Rob has recorded two full-length CDs with Ivory Knight entitled Up from the Ashes and Unconscience. In November of 2005, the group was listed among the Great Canadian metal bands in Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles #92. In addition to making live and radio appearances, Rob is currently working with producer, Annihilator mastermind, Jeff Waters on the third Ivory Knight CD as well as recording his first solo album.

Rob continues to reside in Ottawa. When not playing, composing, or recording music, which is not often, he spends his time teaching his "Guitar for Fun" course through the Ottawa Board of Education and writing educational articles for various guitar web sites.
