Rob Cantley

Robert Cantley is a conservationist and artificial propagator of Nepenthes plants. Cantley has co-written several papers on the genus. He operates a business out of Sri Lanka selling tissue-cultured and seed-grown Nepenthes species and hybrids. The company won a Gold Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2006 and 2007, and a Silver Gilt Medal in 2005.[1]

The natural hybrid Nepenthes × cantleyi is named after him.
