Robert Lee Adams II (born February 27, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri), best known as an American actor and film acting coach.

[edit] Biography
Adams was was born in St. Louis, Missouri to actor/radio personality R. J. Adams and documentary producer Diane C. Adams. He has three siblings, Jill. David and Kara. Married to Amy Adams, the couple has three children Emma, Tyler and Rachel.
While growing up in Mission Viejo, California Adams played Quarterback for the the Jr. All- American Cowboys until he entered his freshman year at Mission Viejo High School, playing QB for the Diablos until graduating in 1988. His role as Quarterback continued with both the Saddleback Gauchos and Cal State Hayward Pioneers. Along with football, Rob studied film acting at The Actors Workshop and was a film major at C.S.U. Hayward.

Immediately after completing his studies at Hayward in 1991, Rob contiued to study his acting and became a teacher at The Actors Workshop. He quickly began landing a variety of roles like; General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, Silk Stalkings, The Lone Gunman, Snowday, Forrest Gump and many other feature films and television programs. His time was also spent coaching football that included the J.V.Head Coach with his Alma Mater, Mission Viejo Diablos before moving on to Varsity QB coach and Offensive Coordinator job with the Mustangs of Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo. In 2002 Adams gave up his football duties but continues to devote himself full time to his Film/TV acting career.

In 1997 after a number of years of coaching under his belt, Rob Adams became director of the presitgeous Workshop founded by his father in1978. It was under the direction of Rob Adams that The Actors Workshop gained international recognition with the openning of The Actors Workshop at the Bavarian Film Studios in Munich. Today, dozens of young actors including Sarah Lancaster, Warren G, Mark Craig and Vicellous Reon Shannon enjoy lucrative starring roles in both film and television.
