When road editing gets stressful, here are road-related jokes and funny things.
- A guy drove through a SPUI and went kaplewy!
- Join the Antarctica Highways WikiProject. It's a WikiProject devoted to developing articles on highways, roads, and penguin paths on the continent of Antarctica. Since there is little government enforcement on the landmass, road rules and routes are often disputed. Don't be surpised to see edit wars and heated naming convention debates here, so bring your helmet and knee pads.

- As a joke, Google Maps will provide directions when a clearly impossible route between North America and Europe (for example, between New York and London) is desired; however, one of the steps is "Swim across the Atlantic Ocean", with a travel time (29 days, 0 hours) and distance (3462 miles/5,572 km) calculated accordingly, between Le Havre in France and Boston in America. The longest route currently known (using the swimming) thus obtained is 15289 miles (24605km) from Zabaykalsk, Chita Oblast, Russia to Overland Dr, Unalaska, AK with coordinate input. [2] Note that we cannot go in the other direction.
- The extension of Charles Street north from downtown Baltimore was once known as the Charles Street Avenue, a turnpike operated by the Charles Street Avenue Company. Beyond the end of the turnpike, it was known as Charles Street Avenue Road. Other names at times included Charles Street Avenue Extended and Charles Street Avenue Boulevard. A piece of Charles Street Avenue still exists.
- "Sometime between 1988 and 1990 this route was deleted by Transportation Planning because it was found there is no way to inventory said route."[dead link] Oops!
