These are excellent photographs. If you can, add a brief description of each at the bottom. Bms4880 (talk) 12:59, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Apparently, there is a browser issue. I checked the article's previous layout using two different computers and both IE and Firefox. The only time I found a gap was when the text size on either was changed to "small". The gap was being caused by the photographs aligned below the infobox pushing the photos under the "peaks" section downward. Eleutheromartin's edits were placing 4 photos bunched at the top, 4 more bunched in the links and references section, with large stretches of text lacking a corresponding photograph.

I changed the size of all photos in the body (with the exception of the one at the top, which is pre-set) to 200px, and reduced the number of photos immediately under the infobox to two. Let me know if there are still gaps.

The photographs were placed, for the most part, to match section content, with aesthetics being secondary. The photograph showing the AT crossing Round Bald was placed near the top because it showed Round Bald, Jane Bald, and Grassy Ridge Bald as well as the A.T. I changed it so there are no gaps - checked on 3 different monitors. Should be fine now. Thanks.Eleutherosmartin (talk) 20:29, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

I added a picture showing a comparison of the same view of the Roan Highlands in spring and autumn. I put this in the main area of the article and moved the "The view from Roan High Bluff" to the image gallery. I hope that's alright. You can move the pictures around if you prefer others. No problem. Great photographs! Bms4880 (talk) 02:48, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
