Talk:Roadside Station

[edit] Title
I kind of think "Michi-no-eki" would be better. The English name makes it sound like a band, especially with the capitalization. Certainly no one will search for "Roadside Station". I've been to one of these places, and I would have recognized a transliteration; the translation elicited no Japan-related thoughts in me. Heroeswithmetaphors (talk) 11:45, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- I was bold, especially because the French were already using the transliteration. Heroeswithmetaphors (talk) 11:58, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- I appreciate the issues you brought up, but I think this page on the MLIT website shows fairly conclusively that the official English translation is "Roadside Station." It doesn't really matter that the French Wikipedia uses the romanization, and I have no idea what you mean by "it sounds like a band." A redirect would take care of people searching for "michi no eki." I'm going to revert the move. -Amake (talk) 12:41, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
