[edit] SS Nipising or SS Nippissing? (or SS Nipissing??)

Googling for either of the first two names merely brings up mirrors of this page.

Both variants would appear to exist as places, but both are probably mis-spellings of Nipissing, and probably named after Nipissing, Ontario or Lake Nipissing nearby.

The third does, at least, give one hit for a real steamship...

Have 'been bold' and replaced all with the single-p, double-s variant!
