RMK Engineering College

RMK Engineering College is a college in Tamil Nadu, funded by the Lakshmikanthammal Educational Trust. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and accredited by AICTEamd this is a telugu minority instituiton.
The college is primarily built on the basis of Discipline and Education.this intituiton is pretty serious about discipline you attend all classes unlike several other Engineering Colleges.
Opened in 1995 with three departments EEE, ECE, Mechanical with about 180 students in Gummidipundi later moved to Kavarapettai near Ponneri about 30 miles from Madras/Chennai and also about an hour away from Andhra Pradesh Border (SulluruPetta) now caters to more than 700 odd students in various departments like EEE, ECE, EIE, CSE, IT,Civil and Mechanical. In addition to offering BE the college also offers MCA, ME in Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI Design, Product Design and Development and MBA program. The campus is presently about 100+ acres . A lot more courses/departments offered to students presently. The college has a fleet of buses for transportation of students.
