Rmeich ([Arabic]]: رميش) is a Lebanese village located in the Caza of Bint Jbeil in the Nabatiye Governorate in Lebanon. Rmeich is home to Al-Tajali Sport Club and a Lebanese Red Cross First Aid Center.[1]

Rmeich occupies a plain 560 to 650 meters above sea level. The main agricultural product of Rmeich is tobacco.

The people of Rmeich are Lebanese and are followers of the Maronite Catholic Church. Population: 7,000

In July 2006, Rmeich, like other villages that string Lebanon's southern border, such as Ain Ebel, Debel, Qaouzah, and Yaroun, was caught in the crossfire of Hezbollah and the Israeli army. Rmeich took in thousands of refugees from neighboring Shiites towns during this war. [2]
