[edit] Your VandalProof Application

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Rkoking. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power.

Unfortunately, your application could not be processed as you did not apply in the correct format. Please carefully re-read the instructions on the approval page, and add your name again to reapply.

Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. Ale_Jrbtalk 18:05, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your VandalProof Application

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Qwazywabbit. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that: you don't have at least 250 mainspace edits. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. Snowolf How can I help? 01:44, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:KMS.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:KMS.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 13:56, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Xbox360elite.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Xbox360elite.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Xbox360elite.jpg

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Xbox360elite.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 18:17, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Images on user pages

See this:

"Do not include non-free images (copyrighted images lacking a free content license) on your user page or on any subpage thereof (this is official policy"

I am removing the offending material from your user page and replacing them with links to the images in accordance to the policies on non-free images. Y4kk 23:15, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Outrunbrandon.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Outrunbrandon.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Y4kk 23:38, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Glitch.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Glitch.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 12:15, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Tenacious D help

[edit] May 2008

Please stop your disruptive editing, such as the edit you made to United Kingdom. If your vandalism continues, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Traditional unionist (talk) 13:33, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Iraq. treelo talk 13:34, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeated abuse of editing privileges. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. PhilKnight (talk) 14:09, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Becuase someone accesed my account from school and vandlises wikipedia"

Decline reason: "This account has been vandalizing, so this account is blocked. In future years, at other web sites, don't give your password to other people. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:07, 15 May 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

Isn't that a little unfair? Zero tolerence in this instance seems a bit harsh at this stage.Traditional unionist (talk) 12:09, 15 May 2008 (UTC) I did not give out my password i left in loged in at school and some accsed it
