I am Robert John Salender, a.k.a. Robert J. Salender, II. Born on Friday, March 7th, 1986, I'm currently the age of 21, residing in the state of New Jersey. I have recently been employed at a Wal-Mart located in North Brunswick, NJ.

My Wiki page will tell you a lot about me, from where you could find me, to how my username was originated, to analysis of the world around me, among other subjects.

However, don't be weirded out by how I think.

[edit] The Love Life

I don't believe it's been over 5 years since Wednesday, October 3rd, 2001. I may remember September 11th, 2001 like yesterday, but whenever I think about that, October 3rd is just right there in front of my face! As a matter of fact, at my old workplace, I saw previews of the World Trade Center movie coming out on DVD, next to The Little Mermaid's with it's DVD out. Like I said, September 11th next to October 3rd.

Anyway, I have a girlfriend, Sarah Ellen Colegrove, who currently resides in the town of Highland Park, New Jersey. Born on Tuesday, August 20th, 1985, she is currently the age of 21. On Wednesday, October 3rd, 2001, it started as an online relationship, but it was considered, by Sarah herself, the true beginning of our real relationship. We first met on my first full day turning 17 years old, Saturday, March 8th, 2003, at Metuchen, by taking the Northeast Corridor trains from the New Jersey Transit. I first saw her parents then at her house, but after some unknown problems, I never got to visit Sarah at her house ever again. However, there was a pool party that my friend Michael Anthony Kratzer (born January 5th, 1989, currently 18, engaged, with fianceé living with him) was invited too. I felt jealous that Mike was allowed to see the Colegrove's. So I figured to tag along.

Now, after some hard times with another person that I lived with in Collingswood, New Jersey, she and Sarah's mother contacted each other, and apparently convinced Sarah's mother to let me visit the house one more time. The one catch: see what the Colegroves' beliefs were. Anyway, I had a good time, especially since Sarah's siblings like me a lot; they want me back!

I find that the 2007 year would be one of our best years yet... especially that the 2007 calendar year is the same as 2001's. This year, October 3rd falls on, like in 2001, a Wednesday.

How could a long-distant relationship last this long? I really don't know the answer to this question. I guess that Sarah and I have been together this long for no apparent reason; maybe we just love each other so much.

[edit] The Family

I'll state my family that I know i.e. parents, grandparents, siblings, and relatives. For the females, I'll use maiden names, with the exception on my grandmother on my father's side.

[edit] Where can you be found on the Internet?

The username rjsec4ever has been used for quite some time over the Internet on various websites, such as DeviantArt (listed first because DeviantArt is the first site I go to whenever I go online), GaiaOnline, and You're The Man Now, Dog (YTMND); blog sites like MySpace, TagWorld, DeadJournal, LiveJournal, GreatestJournal, and Xanga; various instant messengers like AOL Instant Messenger, MSN Messenger; & plenty of message boards. I don't necessarily have a reputation on Wikipedia, however I do some edits. Now-a-days, I'm on YouTube as well. Since Christmas Day 2006, I have uploaded my first video, dubbed "My Brother The Showoff", showing my brother playing a synthesized keyboard on demonstration mode. As of early January 2007, I have become a Director on YouTube. With these type of accounts, I can make over 10 minutes of video, but still have to be under 100 megabytes.

In the last section, you can find my sites on all of these sites, except for GreatestJournal, due to filters on Wikipedia.

[edit] How did rjsec4ever originate?

The username was originated by combining my initials (R.J.S.) with my girlfriend's initials (S.E.C.). However, since the S was used twice, I merged the letter, therefore creating the R.J.S.E.C. acronym. The beauty of creating this acronym was that if you initial my name (Robert J. Salender, II), you get R.J.S. Sec., which has me and my girlfriend's initials side-by-side.

When I had an AOL member name, I couldn't use rjsec4ever since it was being used on AIM. So I created a different version of the name: rojosaelco4ever. Basically, rojosaelco4ever was created by taking the first two letters of me and my girlfriend's first, middle, and surnames (Ro.Jo.Sa. & Sa.El.Co.). Like the S. in R.J.S.E.C., The Sa. is the same for my surname and my girlfriend's first name, therefore merged to make Ro.Jo.Sa.El.Co.

The name was first used at my Microsoft Office Specialist exam. I used my e-mail address from Yahoo!, but I couldn't think of anything to use for my user name. I thought of the above, and that is where the whole thing started.

[edit] What are your interests?

My interests are basically any typical college guy's (and girl's): computers and technology. I'm into any type of music except for rap and Latino, since I hear it all the time outdoors. While I'm outside, I walk aimlessly unless I need to go somewhere like to take the bus to work, friend's houses, train to Metuchen, etc., or if I am hungry, need to go to the bank... you know; ordinary things that ordinary people do. I'm also into anything Japan... anime, music, food/drink, etc.

[edit] Computers & Technology

After owning a laptop since June 2006, I have been beta testing everything, from DeviantArt to Microsoft's Office 2007, to the newest operating system of theirs, Windows Vista.

I own a few video game systems, which include a Nintendo DS, a Sega Saturn, and a Playstation 2. I also own a Nikon Coolpix S4 digital camera.

[edit] Music

When it comes to normal music, like the songs on radio, I mainly listen to alternative rock. There was a radio station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania called Y-100, the rock spin-off to New York City's Top 40 station Z-100 (ironically, both stations are/were on the frequency 100.30 FM). It had great songs, especially the songs I always listened to, since Sarah got me into the groups. She particularly got me into Staind and Linkin Park. I also liked a Canadian band called Econoline Crush. My "theme" was originally the song Home by Econoline Crush. Now-a-days, it fluctuates, but I am currently sticking to Linkin Park's Breaking The Habit.

[edit] Japan

Ahh, the country of Japan. Lovely! After having a 21 year old Japanese female that I met on TagWorld as a pen-pal, I got into Japan way too much. However, anime is one major icon of Japan that would never be missed.

[edit] Which titles of anime are you into?

I'm into any anime that any guy that would get into, particularly Neon Genesis Evangelion, Love Hina, Please Teacher, Golden Boy, Negima, Girls Bravo, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

[edit] Fullmetal Alchemist? I'm in that too!

Wait up for a second... I got into it due to Edward Elric's pocketwatch. There's a scripture inside the watch saying "Don't Forget 3, Oct. 10" (anime) or "Don't Forget 3, Oct. 11" (manga). Obviously, it's talking about the date October 3. How I see it is that the years '10 and '11 can be altered to suit it as '01.

[edit] About the Japanese music... which genrés?

I'm into J-Rock and J-Pop. I'm also into the techno, trance, and dance genrés, most particularly in Konami's Dance Dance Revolution series.

[edit] J-Rock? Which bands?

Well, most recently, I got into the group L'Arc~en~Ciel, who obviously sings Ready Steady Go, one of the themes to Fullmetal Alchemist. However, I'm not into most J-Rock bands because I don't know too many of them.

[edit] What about J-Pop?

It all started with the group Dreams Come True, since the Sonic The Hedgehog games started coming out; most likely after Sonic The Hedgehog 2.

[edit] And you're into DDR? Cool!

Yes, I am into that. The series helped me partially become less heavy. I was 160 pounds one day, and after a few months without eating or not eating much, I dwindled down to the mid-130's. This tells you that the series does help make you lose weight.

[edit] Which Japanese foods/drinks are you into?

I'm particularly into the snacks, like Glico's Pocky. This habit started with the anime Please Teacher. I'm also into ramune. Like the Pocky, this habit started with the anime RahXephon.

[edit] Any Addictions?

Good question. I'm mainly devoted in life, so I don't, and will never, smoke and drink. However, there are some other addictions, like when it comes to candies, Mentos.

[edit] Analyzing the World

When I was in elementary school, my father always said that I was into numbers. That happens to be true. I actually took a Statistics class in my senior year in high school since I analyze everything. However, in my analysis, I mainly relate me to Sarah, her family, or anything dealing with...

[edit] October 3rd: The Game Has Just Started

For the people who have known me for a while, they always hear me talking or comparing something to the date October 3rd, either about the year 2001, or some other year before or after that; most likely after 2001. Here's what I have analyzed... so far.

[edit] October 3rd, 2001: The Mathematics and Numberplay

  • The date October 3, 2001, in shortened form, is 10.3.01. However, the date in that form is a palindrome.
  • As a number, 10301 is a palindromic prime, a number that is a palindrome and a prime number; only divisible by itself and 1.
  • The time Sarah and I became boyfriend/girlfriend was 8:14pm. In 24-hour time, that's 2014. In mathematics, 10+3+2001=2014.

[edit] The Mathematics of the Father's Anniversary

Like I said earlier, my father got remarried on July 3, 1993. In shortened form, that is 7.3.93. 7+3+93=103. In this case, 103 is meant to be interpreted as 10.3. Also, 7+3=10. October is the 10th month in the year. Maybe me being with Sarah on October 3, 2001 was partially determined by my father... which brings up another subject later in the article.

[edit] The Radio

Like I said earlier, I always listened to Y-100, which the frequency was 100.30 FM. You have all the digits but the one 1 at the end, to make 10.03.01.

[edit] Fullmetal Alchemist

German Unity Day is October 3. Fullmetal Alchemist is supposedly set in Germany. The original airdates of the anime were between October 4th, 2003 and October 2nd, 2004, leaving October 3rd out. Thinking about Edward Elric's pocketwatch, it says 3, Oct. 10 on it for October 3 '10. Like I said earlier, I alter that to 3, Oct. 01, as October 3rd, 2001, to suit me.

Also L'Arc~en~Ciel's Tetsu's birth date is October 3rd (1969). Ironic, FMA's 2nd theme, Ready Steady Go, is sung by the group.

[edit] A Day Looking Similar

In 2007, October 3rd falls on a Wednesday. So the day would look like Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007. To me, the 1 was just slanted to make a 7. That's how they look similar.

[edit] Now, For The Real Events Around The World

[edit] The 2001 Anthrax Attacks Timeline

Did you remember that the first anthrax letters were mailed from Trenton, NJ? Also on the timeline, in the first few days of October, have you noticed that October 3rd, 2001 was the only day (in the single digits; October 1-9th, 2001) nothing ever happened?

[edit] Northeast Sniper Shootings (2002)

Most of the people that Lee Boyd Malvo shot happened on October 3rd, 2002. He happened to shoot 5 people within a 15 hour time period during that day (15/5=3?). He got the vehicle from, ironically, Sureshot Motors, in Trenton, NJ. For the details, see the Beltway Sniper Attacks.

[edit] All That Magic (2003)

For me, I've been always into the illusionist David Copperfield, ever since I was the age of 3. Then a few years later, on one of his television specials, I found out he was born and raised in New Jersey. I always wondered where. Then in the 2003 World Almanac, I found out that he was born and raised in Sarah's home town of Metuchen, NJ. Anyway, I was going to talk about Siegfried and Roy. Roy Horn got mauled by the tiger Montecore on October 3, 2003. Apparently, Roy's birthdate is October 3.

Talk about the number 3 being everywhere!

[edit] The Family

[edit] The Salender / Colegrove Family Relation (Indirect, means of wordplay, etc.)

[edit] Seeing Double?

So, when I first spoke to my girlfriend Sarah, I found her by first name on AIM. I was thinking of my cousin-by-marriage Sarah while searching. The best part of this is the comparison of the two ladies:

  • Sarah Ellen Colegrove: Born August 20th, 1985
  • Sarah Elizabeth Kozub: Born April 20th, 1985

Both ladies have initials that are pronounced the same, and the spellings of the initials are similar. Also, the birthdates are very similar. Both months begin with an A, on the 20th, on the year 1985.

[edit] My Name! It's Popular!!

Sarah's mother's nickname and her father's first name closely resemble my first and middle names (Bobbie John compared to Robert John).

[edit] Aunt & Uncle, meet Mom & Son

My aunt on my father's side, which is not shown due to my uncle, Joseph Salender, has the same first and middle name as my girlfriend's mother's. My uncle's birthdate has the same month and day as my girlfriend's brother's.

[edit] Battle of the Religions ... umm ... Sexes

Sarah's father and myself are one religion (Males, both Catholic), Sarah's mother and herself are another (Females, both Jehovah's Witnesses).

[edit] The World and Culture

[edit] Characters in Anime That Make Me Think of Sarah

Asuka from the Neon Genesis Evangelion series reminds me of her.

[edit] Characters in Games That Make Me Think of Sarah

Hitomi from the Dead or Alive series reminds me of her as well.

[edit] Games That Make Me Think of Jehovah's Witnesses

[edit] Square Enix

Look, you have some of the most notable Square Enix games listed here to make you think just what these people are into.

  • Final Fantasy VII : Sephiroth and Jenova; easily be renamed to Sephirot and Jehovah. See the Jenova page for more info.
  • Kingdom Hearts : The title can easily be renamed to Kingdom Halls. Also, the Clock Tower area in Neverland, can easily be made fun of by where the Watchtower magazine is made... New York City (Both towns/cities begin with a "N"). If you think about it, why is Sephiroth in this series exactly?
  • Fullmetal Alchemist: No wordplay here, however you have the whole Scientology issue. The Kabbalah is used here as well.

Think about it... Square Enix uses religion for everything... especially anything dealing with the Kabbalah.

[edit] Other Games

[edit] PlayStation

[edit] Xbox 360
  • Sonic The Hedgehog: The 1st level in the first Sonic game was "Green Hill". There's a level in this game called "Kingdom Valley". Combine the two: "Kingdom Hill".

[edit] Neon Genesis Evangelion

Really, I don't want to list everything... there are WAY too many coincidences.

[edit] Other Coincidences

There are other oddities to be noted, too.

[edit] The Music on the Radio on the Birthdate

My father was recording the radio on a reel-to-reel recorder on March 7, 1986. As a coincidence, Jefferson Starship's Sarah was being played. My father recorded it apparently.

[edit] ZIP+4 Comparison

Those final 4 digits of the zip code are similiar between Sarah and I. Mine is 1134 while Sarah's was 1324.

[edit] Work ... and Play

I used to work at BJ's Wholesale Club in Hamilton Township, New Jersey as a cashier. The Club Number is 141. That number is a palindrome. Also, since BJ's originated in Massachusetts, I found Club # 307 (My birthdate) in that state. That Club's zip code is 01301.

[edit] Voice-overs, the Characters, and the Comparison to Sarah

Yui Horie does the voice-overs of Hitomi and Naru Narusegawa from Love Hina. Both fictional characters have the likeness of Sarah. More or less, Hitomi's eyes and Naru's long hair, with that same hair color, remind me of her.

[edit] Trivia

  • Some members of the Salender family, including the stepparent's side, are born on the 7th of various months. These months are as follows: March, April, October, November, and December.
  • Both me and my father have the same first name and middle initial ("Robert J." for Robert John and Robert James). There's a little controversy that I am not considered a "second", however I really don't care. "The second" fits in my name just fine, especially since the abbreviation for "second" is "sec."... think about my girlfriend for a sec...

[edit] Triumphs

  • After finding a half-drank bottle of Mountain Dew laying on the ground back in 2002, I took the cap off and entered a code for a promotion for Pepsi at school. I have won myself a PSOne.
  • The first scratch-off ticket I purchased made me win $40. It was a $1 ticket.
  • Won a $750 grant for college. However, $650 is sadly gone due to "problems".
  • At a gaming website that I visit, Reflexive Entertainment, a game called Kudos was released. I made a review with the quote (at the bottom of this page) in it and I was picked "Review of the Week" for Valentine's Day 2007. I have won a Reflexive game of my choice.

[edit] My Pages

DeviantArt, Gaia, and YouTube are constantly used.

[edit] Any last thoughts?

Yes.
