Perry Pirsch was born in August 1971 as the sixth child of Allen and Carol Pirsch. He received his law degree from the University of Nebraska in 1998 and his Masters in Public and Nonprofit Administration from George Mason University in 2003. He served as Assistant Attorney General from 1998-2000, Legislative Counsel to Congressman Lee Terry from 2003-2004, Counsel to the Nebraska Auditor of Public Accounts from 2004-2006, and Deputy Treasurer and Counsel to Nebraska Treasurer Shane Osborn in 2007-current. He is author of a novella, The River Lethe, available through Sensory Publishing. His brother, Peter Pirsch, was elected to his first term in the Nebraska Legislature in 2006 for Legislative District 4. His mother, Carol Pirsch, was in the Nebraska Legislature for eighteen years representing Legislative District 10 before getting elected to the Douglas County Board.
