[edit] Rock of Manila
RJ 100.3 used to be the Rock of Manila with its AM band brother RJAM. They brought to life the Pinoy Rock era, with Rock Bands of Sampaguita, Mike Hanopol and Joey Pepe Smith.
In the OLD Sta Mesa parking lot, PINOY WOODSTOCK was started, with Pinoy bands playing all through the night. That tradition was was continued after EDSA REVOLUTION when Ramon Jacinto came back from exile. PINOY WOODSTOCK was held almost every year at the Payanig sa PASIG area, bringing to the masses the ROCK and ROLL greats of old.
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Rj 100.jpg
Image:Rj 100.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:56, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Requested Move
On Wikipedia, we always whenever possible, have the articles for radio stations point to their call letters as the main pagename IF the region it is located in uses call letters for station identification (like in North America). Going under this, I suggest that we move this (and maybe every other Piony station) to their known calls, such as DZRJ-FM in this case. ViperSnake151 13:46, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- I am moving this page per your request, but leaving the other Piony stations alone (partly because I don't know what they are, and partly because they were not listed as part of this request - users who edit those pages might be surprised). If you want to list those other pages, though, you can feel free to do so. I'd suggest citing WP:NC#Broadcasting in your proposal. Dekimasuよ! 07:43, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- Although WP:NC#Broadcasting is a guideline, it's parent policy, WP:NC will still be followed, and in this case, the use of the name "RJ 100" is pretty much the most recognizable name. --Howard the Duck 12:56, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
