RJ Prateek is a popular Indian Radio Jockey, currently working with Fever 104 FM in New Delhi, where he is amongst the most popular RJs. He was one of the most popular RJs in Radio Mirchi (Indore), where he started his career in 2003 as DJ Sam. He completed his post-graduation in Business Management and joined Radio Mirchi as a full-time RJ. Thereafter, he was popularly known as RJ Prateek. His other name, DJ Sam, was still maintained for the saturday night club-music radio show called Club Mirchi.
Prateek is very famous for his heavy voice, his character impersonations (imitation of popular Indian/Bollywood and Hollywood actors as well as creating new characters from real life) and his sense of humour. He has hosted a number of shows on Radio Mirchi (Indore), popular among them being Total Filmi, Bumper To Bumper and Mirchi Masti.
Prateek is a post-graduate in Business Management from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya.
In October 2006, Prateek shifted from Radio Mirchi to Fever 104 FM (New Delhi). He currently hosts the popular evening prime-time show called Fever Hot 20 Countdown, a daily countdown show based on listeners' votes.
His signature tags include the style in which he signs off from his shows. At the end of every show when he is about to leave, he says "Love, Peace and Harmony. Good Night and Be Good".
