I created this template to help with the construction of river features/route maps. More icons can and will be added as the maps are used.If the river mouth is placed at the top of the page it keeps the right and left banks in their conventional places in relation to the viewer/reader.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 17:54, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

- How about the section of a river which has a named path next to it eg the Two Rivers Way for the River Chew?— Rod talk 20:15, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

- I'm not sure about that one either - how about doing one with the building icon on both sides to represent the built up area? I've added each new symbol to User:Rodw/Sandbox/rivertemplate as you've done them - see what you think?— Rod talk 20:48, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

- In order to get the source/minor tributary from the right, more columns are required. Change all the codes to BS3, add more pipes to the right, and add uBASINr to the right of uABZlf. I'll change the template and add explanations later.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 21:20, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
