The article's spelling of the word theatre/theater is pretty inconsistent.

Did the original author choose British spelling for the title and content of an article about a 'theatre' in Texas??

  • Pavium, "theater" is used in reference to what the "River Oaks Theatre" is, but the building is always spelled as "River Oaks Theatre." WhisperToMe 16:22, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
    • FWIW, this is fairly common in US English, sort of as a conscious British-ism to give what's perceived as a sophisticated air. The phrase "an historic" (as opposed to "a historic") is pretty nonexistent in U.S. English, though, so that should probably be changed. --Delirium (talk) 22:57, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
