Riva is also the name of a Star Trek character. But neither the band nor the character seems to have a strong claim to the name "Riva" without a parenthetical disambiguation, that is to say, these should probably get the article names Riva (band) and Riva (Star Trek). The first few Google results for just "riva" are for computer graphics technology and motorsports equipment. ShutterBugTrekker 21:46, 9 May 2004 (UTC)

I think that Riva doesn`t exist anymore because it was kind of a mixture of Croatian, Serbian and other artists but then war happened...--Avala 09:47, 10 May 2004 (UTC)
Interesting. The Riva character was a deaf and mute mediator who was very successful at resolving disputes between warring peoples. ShutterBugTrekker 20:47, 11 May 2004 (UTC)
