Riverside State Park is a park 6 miles northwest of Spokane, Washington. At over 10,000 acres, it is the second-largest state park in Washington. The park includes two campgrounds; one at the Bowl & Pitcher and the other at the Nine Mile Recreation area. Park activities include camping, fishing, swimming, picnicking, boating, canoeing, kayaking, bird watching, wildlife viewing, atv riding, biking, hiking and rock climbing. The different areas of the park are the Bowl & Pitcher, a 600 acre off-road vehicle park, Nine Mile Recreation area, a 1500 acre Little Spokane River natural area, the Spokane House interpretive center and the 37 mile long Centennial Trail.
