Riverdale High School (Florida)

Riverdale High School, located in Fort Myers, Florida, is one of the many high schools in Lee County. Other schools in Lee County include: Fort Myers Senior High School, North Fort Myers High School, Lehigh Senior High School, and Dunbar High School. Riverdale High School has also just introduced the International Baccalaureate program.
Riverdale High was also the school that was attended by the boys who attracted national notoriety as members of a self-styled teen militia called The Lords of Chaos. They went on a crime spree culminating in the murder of Mark Schwebes, Riverdale High Schools' band director on April 30, 1996.
This school is one of three others in Lee County that offer the IB program. The program began in 2005 and the first graduating class will be in 2009. Along with IB their are AP and Honors classes. Riverdale High was rated as 6 out of 10 in the choice of schools in Lee County.
This is also where the soon-to-be starter for Alabama State, Terrance Cody, attended all four years of his high school career that ended in 2006.
