IMDb profile |
Riverboat was a western television series starring Darren McGavin that was broadcast on the NBC television network from September 13, 1959 until January 2, 1961.
Riverboat depicted the exploits of Captain Grey Holden and his crew as they navigated the riverboat Enterprise along the West and Midwest, running into interesting characters along the way, including a pre-presidential Abraham Lincoln.
Riverboat also co-starred Burt Reynolds, who was early into his very successful career. After reported disputes with McGavin, Reynolds left the show, and was replaced by Noah Beery, Jr.
